Planning a wedding can be stressful, so we've put together a list of things to consider when choosing a wedding reception venue. This includes information on how to choose a venue that fits your budget, what to look for in a wedding reception venue, and what to expect at your wedding reception.

Choose a Date.

Choosing a date for your wedding is one of the first steps in planning your wedding. You'll need to decide between an indoor or outdoor wedding, as well as whether you'd prefer a spring, summer, fall, or winter wedding. If you're having a destination wedding, you'll also need to determine where you want to go.

Select an Officiant.

An officiant is a religious leader who performs weddings. They usually perform ceremonies at churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, or other places of worship. In some cases, an officiant might not be required, such as when a couple has a civil ceremony.

Decide Where You Want to Hold the Ceremony.

If you plan to hold the ceremony outdoors, make sure there's enough room for everyone to stand comfortably. Also consider whether you'll need additional space for guests to sit during the ceremony.

Find a Location for the Reception.

The Moat House in Tamworth is an ideal location for a wedding tamworth, with it’s royal connections and experience in hospitality your guests will have a great time. We can help with the DJ, room setup, access to dedicated bar and historic function room, guest parking, local accommodation and guest chauffeurs to ensure your day runs smoothly.

Book a Photographer.

If you plan to hire a photographer, make sure he or she has experience shooting weddings. Ask them how often they shoot weddings and whether they specialize in photographing receptions. Also ask if they offer packages that include everything you need to do to ensure a beautiful wedding album.
